The award for most amazing paperback announcement

… goes to Miranda July. Her short story collection, No One Belongs Here More Than You (which includes an amazing story about a bisexual couple’s relocation to Portland and subsequent break-up) is now available in paperback, but don’t let us tell you. Let her. It’s much more entertaining.

  1. It was pretty agonizing seeing her struggle with writing it on the top of the fridge the first time around.

  2. it comes in four colours now!!! hooray!

  3. i want to marry mj on top of a mountain. amazing.

  4. If the book is half as creative as the announcement it’s got to be good.

  5. I loved “Me and You and Everyone We Know” so I can’t wait to get my hands on this book.

Plus, Miranda’s hair is so cute.

  6. i am reading this book right now and agree with dave eggers’ blurb (or whatever it is called). though, to be honest, i still love lorrie moore’s writing head and shoulders above the rest. july’s characters are a bit too detached for me. but they are still profound, even if they are so obviously trying to hit that note of stark contrast sometimes.
