The return of Tegan and Sara

They’re back! Tegan and Sara have announced their new U.S. tourdates after a few months of international shows and a short break in which “Sara is at home in Montreal learning to knit and snowshoe while reflecting on the deeper meaning of life, and [Tegan is] in Vancouver trudging around in the rain attempting to put together a home or some semblance of one really.”

Somewhere one of you is crying hysterically and sending Tegan a poem with a rain metaphor for loneliness and your unrequieted love. It just may be working, however, as Tegan also noted, “I wake up on Fridays and ride the bus downtown to pick up our mail and I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to have so many letters and funny things to open up and look through…I wish I could write you all back but I just can’t keep up. But know your letters are being read. Your love is being felt.” She totally wants to do you.
