The USA has the Grammy’s, and Canada has the Juno Awards. Tegan and Sara’s The Con was nominated for alternative album of the year but lost at the award show this weekend. However, a sick and solo Tegan played as part of “The Songwriters Circle” for the Juno celebration, and luckily, a fan uploaded audio of her describing songs about MySpace and giving foreign interviews to harsh German reporters. A must for fans (aka all of you.)

Although the girls lost out again this year, we’re so proud to be able to call these passionate, down to earth and hilarious musicians CANADIAN!! Their music carries a strength that most can only aspire to.
