Tegan and Sara invite Northern State out on some dates

Twins Tegan and Sara just concluded their small venue tour in the States last night in Chicago at the Lakeshore Theater (and it was totally excellent), but they’re already gearing up for their fall dates, which start at the end of October.

It’s been announced that former tourmates hip-hop trio Northern State will open for T&S on the tour, and they are coming prepared with material from their new album Can I Keep This Pen? The album will be released from Ipecac Records on August 28, and Kaki King is said to be playing on some tunes. Nothing says hip-hop like Kaki King.
